  3. According to legend, when Alexander captured the city 
  4. of Babylon, he unexpectedly entered the city via the 
  5. west gate in order to thwart the prediction Babylonian 
  6. astrologers had made about Alexander dying in their 
  7. city. Alexander didn't die and proceeded to conquer
  8. all of Babylonia. However, in 323 BC, at the age of 
  9. 33, Alexander died of a fever in the city of Babylon.
